Meet April

Photography has always been a love of mine.  I love the way the light hits things and brings out the natural beauty and glow.  From the sparkle in a child's eye to the love in a groom's smile, the perfect light turns a simple photograph a work of art.  I have been photographing families for over 15 years.  I have students that I taught when I first entered my teaching career that I have been able to photograph in weddings and continue photographing as they expand their own families.  Photography is about relationships.  I enjoy each and every session that I do.  I enjoy capturing the unique stories of families that share their time and memories with me.  

With the decrease in price of standard digital cameras, I know that there are many photographers on the market.  I know that people can invest $500 in a camera and use social media to market their business as a professional photographer.  I believe in a fair price for the product that you receive. I have many years invested in my photography as well as many hours as a member of the Professional Photographers Association and time studying at the Georgia and Florida School of Photography under photographers such as Hanson Fong.  I have extensive experience photographing subjects in natural, studio, and church lighting conditions.
